Environmental Aesthetics was formed by six college friends sometime between January 2006 and May 2008*, as a record label, events company, management and booking agency and secret society. We’ve been all of these things at one time or another, though usually not all at once.

In 2012, Environmental Aesthetics exists primarily as a record label. We do a bit of this and a bit of that, but at the end of the day, we help produce and distribute music. Our partners at IODA help us distribute online. We’ve only done a couple physical releases, all self-distributed at this point. Our goal, as the name hints at, is to produce art and music in the most sustainable fashion possible.

At the moment, three of us** do most of the work, but our friends are still around and help out. John is who you should contact with any questions, comments, hate mail or love letters.
